| Since this was like my fave memory
from my whole summer vacation... I've decided to remember it, blog it,
and share it ^0^ it's amazing how it's like a month after and yet as I
type, I'm remembering it all exactly as I experienced it n.n-v
Friday, August 4th ~ Tuesday, August 8 2006
Day 1 the first adventure
Okay...
so I went to bed thinking, "WOooHoOo!! I'm going on vacation!!" but
here I am at 6:00am lying dead in bed thinking, "UGH! I WANT MORE
SLEEP!" I was NOT a happy camper XP! Eventually, I managed to be ready
by 7:00am and that's when my aunt and uncle arrived. We hurriedly ate
breakfast and loaded the rented van (that was a comfy, big van lol!),
fitting 7 people and our junk in there then ROADTRIP!
One
hour... two hours... o god 3 three hours went by... and that's when we
stopped by a restaurant/inn to have lunch ^0^ I think it was called... "Harris Ranch"
Nice looking cowboy pics dressed the walls and the couches were made
w/ real cow hide @.@ A lotta the things were western cowboy oriented. I
was sOoO facinated by the REAL animal heads hanging on the walls... I
was thinking, "this looks like mid-west meets southern decore!" o.o;;
There was an elk head, wild boar head, loverly stag head, moose head...
OH! and an awesome bull head
hanging on the same eating room we were at! They were pretty huge heads
too... I must have been really strange... standing there... analyzing
these heads and thinking to myself, "those must've bene really LARGE
animals cauz damn... those r big heads" @.@;; I both fear and look
forward to the moment I c a moose up close O.o!! The walls were also
covered w/ framed pictures of all of the awards the restaurant has won
and pictures of its history. EVERY SINGLE PART OF THE WALLS WERE
COVERED! That's a lotta framed pics x.x; After eating my loverly... wat
did I eat? (some kinda sandwich xD!) we went to the lil gift shop! YAY!
I found a music audio sampler and listened to a CD called "Celtic
Mystique by Howard Baer" It was pretty w/ the calming flute and light
tones playing ^^ (I think I'll buy it ;D) They had a really nice
restroom decore too o.o OOOK! So then we left and went baq on the road.
Two hours and 30 mins passed before we reached Redwood City.
First we checked out the place where my cuzzin's wedding will be at
(that's the main reason y the family decided to have a mini stay up
there ^0^) then we went to the Crown Plaza hotel
! IT WAS BEAUTIFUL n HUGE! I was so excited to be staying here! There
was an inside waterfall at the far end of the hotel lobby that created
a mini river and pond area for the coy fish! A mini bridge overlooked
the lil river. This lil lobby area was surrounded by several sitting
booths, umbrella tables, fake BUT realistic palm trees (and other
tropical plants), a nice lil bar ;o and two elevators w/ clear windows
that overlook the whole gorgeous lobby! OH OH! When I entered my hotel
room ... there was a STEREO w/ a CD PLAYER sitting at the bedstand
^0^!!!! The tv had satellite programing so we had lotsa channels! And
out the window... truth behold, my view was the loverly lobby LOL!! I
remember spying on a group of adults that were having a drinking party
all nite in the sitting booths LOL! So I unpacked a lil, rested a lil,
and watched Sleepy Hollow a lil... then it was dinner time ^0^
We
ate at the Japanese restaurant close to the lobby. AwWwW! There was a
kyute azn waiter boy who waited us along w/ some woman who I think was
his mother. I think the family ran it o.o I dunno for sure but it
seemed like it :o He was kyute in the shy but friendly sorta way lol! I
bet u he's a college student! So after happily eating my teriyaki
chicken/ gyoza/ california rolls tricombo meal... it was bedtime ^0^
BUT! I didn't sleep just yet XD I was much too excited! My aunt phoned
my room up and asked if we wanted to walk around a bit and I gladly
accepted... I wanted to explore the hotel!! So off we went... my lil
sis, my aunt, and I... roaming floor by floor... till we saw a lil
overhead room area o.o I saw ppls moving around w/ a tv in the
background... silly me thought it was a gameroom XD! BWAHAHHA! It
turned out to be a fitness room o.o!! So I tampered w/ the many
machines... don't know wat they're quite called but I knew how to use
them xD We stayed till lil punks raided the area -.-!! We finally went
to our bedrooms to go sleep! After taking a light shower... I climbed
up the COMFY, warm bed and slept soundly listening to Shinhwa and
random korean music ^0^ while crazy adults drank their hearts out n
laughed in the lobby just outside...
... O yea! we stopped by
STANDFORD on the way. IT WAS PRETTY!! The outside looked like a typical
university campus area but the place that facinated me the most... was
the chapel (or church... it was HUGE @.@) There was a huge organ at
the top baq of the wall on a overhang/ balcony setting!! o.O I was
like... wow that thing's BIG... must be loud @.@; I was briefly
reminded of Phantom of the Opera for some strange reason looking a the
organ x.X; The walls were dressed with beautiful paintings of Bible
stories and saints... simply "picturesque" s2! They had such
vibrant and detailed paintings! TOO LOVELY FOR WORDS! The high dome
ceiling w/ intricate carving details added to its brilliance. Even the
altar had a nice layout. O yea... the place was adourned w/ a lovely
golden color. So pretty! I want to go baq there again n.n-v
Day 2 the wedding

| This is dedicated to Ashley and to me and my entertainment XD!
So
most of u know my best friend Ashley right? If not ... then it's
probably becauz i call her "ne-chan" instead of her real name XP She's
the "crazy, loud black girl" (as she so fondly calls herself :o!) who's
in most of my pics lol ok so neways... I'm here to document and tell to
u one of the crazy antics she's pulled x.X; (mainly cauz it's a
fond-scary-never-to-forget-sorta-moment that needs to be remembered x.x)
Ok
so being the best buddy that she is, ne-chan comes to my house with
food :D! becauz i'm sick and lonely becauz everyone's at school while
i'm still in vacation :o! So we're eating and watching several movies
at the same time, when i get up and go to my kitchen to get tea. I
notice my asian neighbor boy across the street, washing his car. I
thought it'd be interesting to point this out to ne-chan... knowing her
reaction. OOOMMMGGGGG! I didn't think she'd actually do wat she did
LOL!!! I thought she'd just spy out the window and blab her commentary
about him but noooo...
It started that way when she called him
fugly (I was like "waaat that's so mean!" she used her sarcastic
wierd-faced voice thou so it's all good lol) but later on in the day
she called him "adorable"! WTH woman make up ur mind XP! Then she tells
me "OoOOO! Can I go ask him to wash my car?! OOOO! I'm going to ask
him!" OF COURSE she doesn't mean it like slave labor >____> she
just wants to "talk to him" decoded as "scare him" ... poor boy ;-;
Being
the sane one, I practically had to slam,guard, keep shut the front
door, DRAG/HOLD on to her when she tried to run out my "inside" garage
door, slap her hands away from the garage opener, all while reasoning
w/ her to leave the poor boy alone @.@! I WAS ACTUALLY DRAGGED ALONG
THE FLOOR, well i did have my share of dragging too WOHOHO! and when
the garage finally opened ...
She didn't do nething (yet!) but
act like a fool in front of my house +_______+; I still persisted in
yelling at her to get baq inside and tried closing the garage on her to
scare her (stupid garage sensors +.+!). Then with great timing my
sisters came driving and tried to park in the garage... but freakin
ashley was in the way xD! She stood in the front of the car acting like
a wierdo (the asian boy probably witnessed the whole thing and was
laughing his face off! who wouldn't!) SHE WAS YELLING/CHEERING LIKE A
LOUD MAD WOMAN! But i did remind her that my older sister was a bad
driver and that she should probably move... and she did after some car
honking LOLLL! We managed to close the garage and LOCK the door w/o her
noticing she forgot to scare the boy... till i reminded her saying "hey
ne-chan XD u forgot to ask the guy! HAHA!" oops...
O_O she ran
to the front door and opened it and I GAVE UP! It didn't turn out as
bad as i thought it would've xD It went like this... (according to her
perspective and mine, I couldn't c but i heared it lol!)
She: :opens door and looks at him then says quietly to me: A-DAAAAAANG he's tall!!
Me: LOLLLLLLL!!!
She: :turns to him and SCREAMS!: HEY! Wanna wash my car?!
He: :gives her a "wtf" face and shakes head no:
She: I'll give u $10!
He: :shakes head: $20.
She: $30!
He: $40!
She: awww come on! pleeez!
He: :smiles n laughs still shaking head no:
She: (completely changes subject) how old R u?
He: :says something but she can't hear him:
She: wait wat? i can't hear u! :o!
He: :holds up 10, then holds up 7 (fingers):
She: wait ... :squinches eyes w/ dumb look (LOL) trying to count from the distance: =0= wat? 17? 18?! Oh! 17!?!?! eh?!
And
that's about it... o.O; LOLLLLLLLLLLLLL!!! We concluded he was 17...
cauz I USED to know him when i was little, him and his sister both, but
u know years pass and we grew apart o.O But i still remembered their
names and ages sorta XD! SO yea 17 made sense lol sorry guys but I
won't tell u his name XD That's his privacy!
In conclusion,
ne-chan said that he's "adorable" but not her type cauz she likes her
EMO guys XP! And the guy probably thinks she's on something and reminds
himself to stay clear away from my house x.x; ... and this concludes my
random story of the day! ^0^!

| Does evil exist?
The university professor challenged his
students with this question. Did God create everything that exists? A
student bravely replied "Yes, he did!"
"God created everything?" the professor asked. "Yes sir", the student replied.
The professor answered, "If God created everything, then God created
evil since evil exists, and according to the principal that our works
define who we are, then God is evil".
The professor was quite
pleased with himself and boasted to the students that he had proven
once more that the Christian faith was a myth.
Another student raised his hand and said, "Can I ask you a question professor?"
"Of course", replied the professor.
The student stood up and asked, "Professor, does cold exist?" The
Professor replied "Of course it exists. Have you never been cold?" The
students snickered at the young man's question. The young man replied,
"In fact sir, cold does not exist. According to the laws of physics,
what we consider cold is in reality the absence of heat. Everybody or
object is susceptible to study when it has or transmits energy,and heat
is what makes a body or matter have or transmit energy. Absolute zero
(- 460 degrees F) is the total absence of heat. Cold does not exist. We
have created this word to describe how we feel if we have no heat.
The student continued. "Professor, does darkness exist?" The professor
responded, "Of course it does". The student replied, "Once again you
are wrong sir. Darkness does not exist either. Darkness is in reality
the absence of light. Light we can study, but not darkness. In fact we

the student replied, "Evil does not exist sir, or at least it Does not
exist unto itself. Evil is simply the absence of God. It is just like
darkness and cold, a word that man has created to describe the absence
of God. God did not create evil. Evil is the result of what happens
when man does not have God's love present in his heart. It's like the
cold that comes when there is no heat or the darkness that comes when
there is no light."
